Our client located in the Darwin Region of NT who work within the Disability sector is in need of a Permanent Senior Occupational Therapist (Team Leader) from mid/late-January 2021. The hours are Monday to Friday only (38 hour per week), no weekends are required.

The Occupational Therapist will be required to assess and developing treatment plans for individuals with living disabilities, Home modification, Equipment/exercise prescription, falls prevention, working with NDIS clientele, and supervise/mentor new graduates. All applicants will have had 2-3 years’ post graduate experience to apply for the role as well as need a current Drivers licence.

Our client located in the Gove Peninsula Region of the Northern Territory (one hour flight from Darwin) are in need of a Permanent Experienced Physiotherapist from mid/late-January 2021. The clinic provides services to areas such as sporting injuries, pain management, back pain, work injuries, dry needling, acute inpatient within the hospital and Pilates.

The clinic is a growing and innovative clinic and currently has one Physiotherapist who has over 6 years of experience. The caseload will be mixed between private practice (main) with a few days in the local hospital. The clinic has a great reputation in the community with strong affiliations with local doctors, sporting clubs, local businesses and the indigenous community.

All candidates will have had a minimum of 12 months post graduate experience either in private practice/hospital or aged care to apply for the role. The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with flexibility required in start/finish times depending on pilates classes and patient bookings.

The role will require travel to other remote sites as services are offered throughout the region. The hours are Monday to Friday with Saturdays optional and negotiable. All applicants will have paediatric experience as a Physiotherapist as well as excellent communication skills dealing with and working with parents in understanding the development level as a child. New graduates with placement experience in these areas are welcome to apply as there is mentoring/support provided.
